Many pet owners report significant satisfaction, particularly with the dog door itself, acknowledging its durability and effectiveness in keeping out weather elements. Users have noted its long-lasting performance; one customer stated that their first door endured six years of heavy daily use before requiring replacement. The double flap design is praised for preventing drafts and keeping warmth inside during colder months, adding to the product’s appeal. Installation appears to be a major turning point in customer satisfaction. While some have found the basic installation straightforward, the wall kit has received mixed reviews. Users pointed out that the instructions can be misleading, particularly the guidance around cutting the insert, which needs to be wider than the wall itself. Moreover, navigating the screw alignment during installation has proven challenging, prompting some Consumers to recommend modifications for efficiency. In terms of overall usability, pets seem to adapt well to the door, allowing them to come and go freely at their convenience, which greatly enhances the experience for both pets and their owners. One particularly notable mention was from a handicapped user who appreciated the ease of purchasing a product that meets their needs effectively. Despite the notable positive features of the pet door itself, the wall kit leaves room for improvement, particularly in its design and assembly instructions, which could lead to a frustrating experience for some users during installation. ### Pros and Cons **
