Answer: It’s not rubbery like silicone that you find in kitchen tools, but it’s not slick either, it is kind of in between....smooth with a fine brushed texture so that it is not super slippery. You can place it on something that is slick, like smooth porcelain, and this cover will be stable. -

Does it have adequate speaker cut-outs? Last case I had muffled the sound.
Answer: Speaker cut outs are not the problem. Had this for a while now. Button use is difficult and it keeps slipping off. Do not like it. -

Is there other colors beside red and black with this exact model that works w iPad A1566?
Answer: My husband had black. I bought pink -

Answer: If you fold the cover in two you will get a kind of long pyramid close to the iPad, be sure that the edge of the cover will stay espelle fixed at the base of the iPad so that it will be stable.
