The trigger is flawless and registering every stroke of the sticks, but it is not chokeable and is only a single zone pad. The product feels cheap, but its triggering works well. Some customers have experienced some issues with its quality and durability, including the rubber pad peeling off and its flimsiness. Despite the limitations, the product is excellent for a second hi-hat or a ride or crash that may never mute. It is very sensitive too. At $40, this cymbal pad is recommended for drummers on a budget.
