Forney E7014 welding rods are a great value product that works Consistently better than other brands. It is an ideal product for running off an AC buzz box. The welding rods strike easily, welds fine, and welders have no trouble with the arc, but the rod makes a ton of slag and smoke. One negative feedback was that the rods are difficult to start and hold an arc even when using different current settings. Finally, there is another negative feedback that this welding rod does not weld better than other brands, however, most customers think that it works perfectly fine and will definitely buy it again.
