It rolls very smoothly, but it arrived with a medium dent in the side of the unit that should not affect functionality. Although the gauge does not have actual numbers indicating the vacuum level, it held a vacuum overnight with no perceivable loss, indicating there are no significant leaks. The product is very helpful for manufacturing play grounds and changing oil in small engines.
