What is the CE770 - KVM Extender, and what are its primary functions?

The CE770 - KVM Extender is a device that enables users to control a computer from a distance using a keyboard, monitor, and mouse. It extends the KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) signals over long distances using a wired connection. This is particularly beneficial in environments where computers need to be securely placed away from workstations, such as in server rooms or for multimedia applications. By allowing control from another location, it enhances flexibility and usability for various settings including businesses, data centers, and educational institutions.

What distances can the CE770 - KVM Extender cover?

The CE770 - KVM Extender is designed to cover long distances, typically up to 150 meters (approximately 492 feet). It achieves this through a secure and stable wired connection, making it suitable for operations that require remote computer access without signal degradation. This functionality is especially useful in large installations such as monitoring stations, control rooms, and other setups where the computing unit must remain in a separate area from the user.

What types of connections does the CE770 - KVM Extender support?

The CE770 - KVM Extender supports multiple video resolutions and can work with various connection types including HDMI and VGA. This versatility allows it to adapt to different display setups and requirements. Users can easily connect it to a range of devices, making it ideal for multimedia presentations, training sessions, or any situation where high-quality video output is needed from a remote location.

Is the CE770 - KVM Extender compatible with all operating systems?

How does the CE770 - KVM Extender ensure signal integrity?

The CE770 - KVM Extender employs advanced technology to maintain signal integrity over long distances. By using high-quality wiring and robust protocols, it minimizes interference and degradation of video and input signals. This ensures that users experience smooth operation without lag or interruptions, which is crucial in high-stakes environments like live broadcasts or critical control systems.

Can the CE770 - KVM Extender be used for gaming purposes?

Yes, the CE770 - KVM Extender can definitely be used for gaming, especially for setups that require a separate console or PC located further away from a display. Its ability to transmit high-definition video and audio allows for an immersive gaming experience without any noticeable lag, making it an excellent choice for gamers who want the flexibility of remote access without sacrificing performance.

What are the installation requirements for the CE770 - KVM Extender?

Installing the CE770 - KVM Extender generally requires a standard wired network setup. Users need to connect the transmitter unit to the computer and the receiver unit to the display, using compatible cables. The simple plug-and-play design means that no specialized skills are necessary for installation. This convenience makes it an appealing option for users looking to quickly set up their remote control systems.

Does the CE770 - KVM Extender support audio transmission?

Yes, the CE770 - KVM Extender supports audio transmission along with video and peripheral control. This capability allows users to extend not just the visual aspect but also the sound from the computer. Such functionality is particularly advantageous in media production, gaming, and virtual meetings where both video and audio quality are critical to the overall experience.

Can multiple users access the CE770 - KVM Extender simultaneously?

No, the CE770 - KVM Extender is designed for one-user access at a time. Each unit allows control of a single computer from a remote location.
