However, customers have found various ways to use it for Spalding and other brands. The kit comes with extra parts that allow it to be mounted anywhere, even on a sloped roof with gutter guards. According to some customers, it may be challenging to attach the backboard to the bracket brace angle pieces on the top of the bracket. One user suggested hiring a professional handyman, but that may end up being more expensive than the bracket itself. Another customer complained that the assembly did not come with hardware to handle the offset of rain gutters, which could be problematic for some users.
