Bryke Fasteners Tool Kits Editorial Review
The Quarter Turn Tool Bryke Fasteners is a tool designed for quarter-turn Dzus fasteners. According to some customers, the blade of the fastener is alright and performs just like any other quick-release tools available in the market. However, the handle is too small to get enough torque on the dzus and can easily slip out of the slots, making it useless for tight buttons. Some customers suggest wrapping it with duck tape to salvage what they bought. Additionally, the tool easily rotates in the handle, making it unusable for some customers. One even noted that the blade spins in the handle after one use. In terms of usability, some customers said that it works better than a large straight blade screwdriver and does not scratch or mar the dzus fasteners easily. However, many customers had negative feedback on this product, stating that the blade was too thin with smooth edges, making it difficult to grip and comes out of the slot effortlessly. Some had issues with the shank coming out of the molded plastic handle at an odd angle, rendering the tool useless. Many were also unhappy with the customer service of Bryke Racing and the 20% re-stocking fee charged despite the defective tool.
