Product Details
- One-Step Air Threader: The FY555 air threading system sends upper and lower looper threads through the looper paths in one step. Setup is faster before overlock seams, rolled hems, and edge finishing.
- Differential Feed Control: The differential feed adjusts from 0.7 to 2 to change how fabric moves under the presser foot. Use higher settings for knits, gathering, and wavy-edge control, or lower settings for lightweight fabrics and puckering control.
- Rolled Hem Selection Lever: The N/R lever switches the machine from standard overlocking to rolled hem setup. The rolled hem setting retracts the stitch finger for fine and medium-weight fabric edges, scarves, garment edges, and home textiles.
- Adjustable Stitch And Cutting Width: Stitch length adjusts from 0.8 to 4.5 mm for different overlock finishes. Cutting width adjusts by needle position and knife position for narrow seams, wider overlock edges, and cleaner fabric trimming.
- Heavy-Duty Metal Frame: The heavy-duty metal frame gives the FY555 a stable structure for serger stitching, edge trimming, and rolled hem work. A steadier base supports smoother fabric movement during high-speed sewing.
- Cut-Offs Bin: The front cut-offs bin catches trimmed fabric as the knife cuts seam allowances. It helps keep the sewing area cleaner during edge finishing and rolled hem work.
- 1,200 Stitches Per Minute: The FY555 reaches up to 1,200 stitches per minute for faster serger sewing. Foot control lets you manage sewing speed as you guide fabric through overlock seams and edge finishing.
