Directed Remote Starters 556U Editorial Review

The Universal Remote Start Interface is a handy device that bypasses the factory security system, allowing users to utilize a remote starter. The installation requires a spare key that works for the vehicle, and a sensor ring must be affixed around the ignition tumbler to transmit the transponder key signal to the ignition system. While it may not be compatible with all vehicles, it can work with models such as the 2005 Dodge Stratus, 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, 2013 Ford Fusion, and more. Customers have reported positive experiences with the product, noting that it is easy to install and works well with a remote start system. They appreciated the feature that allows the use of different chip keys without causing conflicts. However, some customers encountered occasional starting issues and faced challenges with the door locks, which required additional resistors for installation.
