Novation Music AMS-LAUNCHPAD-X Editorial Review
The LaunchPad X MIDI Controller seems to be a popular choice among customers who are beginners in music production or want to experiment with composing music. Customers have noted that the controller is easy to use and offers various functions that support composition apps. It is compatible with different software and has the flexibility to customize key assignments, making it suitable for users at different skill levels. However, some users have experienced issues with the durability of the product, specifically mentioning that the buttons are hard to press and may stop responding after a period of use. One customer highlighted a breakdown issue with the pads controlled by an IC, leading to a loss of responsiveness. Additionally, there were concerns about the level of force required to trigger the pads, with some feeling that they were not as sensitive as expected. Overall, the LaunchPad X MIDI Controller provides a versatile and fun way to create music, especially for beginners or those looking to enhance their composition skills. While it has received praise for its functionality and ease of use, potential buyers should Consider the reported durability issues to make an informed decision. **
