- The Green Diary is a plant recognition guide that teaches by both reading, touching and observing. In the first pages, what concepts such as seeds, flowers, fruits, trees, etc. mean, ways to obtain plants from seeds, and the meaning of botany are explained. Then the real excitement begins. A full page drawing of a tree is given on each left page. The right pages direct the leaves of that tree to be found and pasted. The reader visits forests, gardens and parks with his Green Diary in hand; Then, he is expected to collect the leaves of the trees and plants in the book and collect them in his diary. Thus, when the book is finished, he learns the names and characteristics of Turkey's 38 plants and trees and collects their leaves in his diary. In addition, thanks to the mini wooden shovel included with the book and seed envelopes containing basil, tomato, pepper and parsley seeds, the reader can grow his own plants at home.
