GEARWRENCH Editorial Review
The GEARWRENCH 3 Piece 120XP Flexing Handle Ratchet Set has garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from users, primarily focused on its performance and customer service experience. Many users have reported that these ratchets feel excellent in the hand and operate smoothly, making them a convenient choice for both professional and casual users. The durable Construction and the heft of the tools seem to inspire confidence amongst users, leading some to declare them as the best tools they have purchased and a worthy alternative to more expensive brands. However, there are significant complaints regarding the functionality of the ratchets, particularly with the 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch versions, which have been noted for having sticky mechanisms right out of the box. Over time, these issues have not improved, which has led to frustration among users. Several individuals have also expressed disappointment with customer support, reporting difficulties in contacting the company for warranty service or replacement parts. In some cases, critical tool components, such as the handle of the 3/8 ratchet, have failed during regular use, further diminishing the product's reliability in the eyes of users. Overall, while the GEARWRENCH 3 Piece 120XP ratchet set is praised for its quality and user experience during operation, the setbacks with certain mechanical issues and inadequate customer service create a divisive reception, especially for users in the UK. **
