This book "Decomposing The Shadow: Lessons From The Psilocybin Mushroom" by James W. Jesso is a valuable guide to understanding and experiencing the psilocybin mushroom. The author uses language and definitions to Constructively describe the experience. The book covers a brief history and perspective on different societies' use of mushrooms. It is not an in-depth book, but it is an easy non-technical read. The author is excellent in putting into words the many aspects of the psychedelic experience. Readers found the book very intelligently written, which gave them a great framework to begin their psilocybin exploration.
