The installation is said to be simple and effortless due to a built-in mounting hanger that allows you to slide it into place and secure the unit. However, some customers have complained that the PDU arrives broken, and they don't receive alternatives for replacement. Additionally, the product isn't a surge protector, so don't rely solely on the device to shield your appliances from power surges. It does have two circuit breakers, but these are only for over-current situations. The APC PDU uses the L6-30P plug, so make sure your power outlet or UPS has a corresponding connector.
