Manufacturing Editorial Review
The 7th edition of Ship Construction has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have found the book to be very informative, with helpful links at the end of each chapter. It has been recommended for college classes and for those studying for masters and mates. However, some customers have expressed disappointment in the lack of detailed graphics and illustrations depicting modern Construction methods. They feel that other publications, such as those from the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers or Reed's series on ship design, offer better visual explanations of ship Construction techniques. Overall, the book seems to be a valuable resource for beginners in the marine industry, providing a basic understanding of ship design and Construction. **
