Blu-ray Editorial Review
Cinderella [Blu-ray] offers a breathtaking visual experience with its stunning costumes and whimsical set design, while brilliantly retelling the beloved classic with depth and charm. This live-action adaptation features Lily James as a resounding Cinderella who embodies resilience, kindness, and grace, captivating audiences both young and old. The film successfully builds upon Cinderella's character, giving her more agency, and presents a sweet, genuine romance with Prince Kit, played by Richard Madden. The storytelling keeps viewers enchanted throughout, combining magical elements with emotional depth. Critics applaud Cate Blanchett's portrayal of the complex Lady Tremaine, adding layers to her character as both a villain and a deeply flawed individual.
