The Zippo Typhoon Match Kit is a must-have for camping trips or emergency situations. The kit includes 15 typhoon matches, water-resistant storage, integrated water-resistant STRIKE pad cap, and two additional STRIKE pads. The matches are coated in a substance that allows them to light even in wet conditions. The design of the kit resembles a miniature thermos and is made of hard plastic with a creative and appealing design. The body and lid require a little force to get off, but the other end twists off easily. It also has a lanyard feature, but no shoe string is included. The kit floats in water and the striker patch needs to be kept dry to prevent any issues. Though the matches worked well, the coating on the matches has a negative smell when the match is done burning.
