The Jamo S 810 subwoofer is an active subwoofer measuring 19.9 inches in height, 15.9 inches in width, and 8.9 inches in depth. It comes with a standard 6ft sub cable with male RCA tips on each end. The subwoofer has a frequency response of 36Hz - 180Hz, and it comes with a power cord. The back of the unit is smooth, offering no defining characteristics besides the finish. The amplifier controls, including the Gain and Low-Pass dials, are on the bottom of the unit, which some find inconvenient. Overall, the subwoofer hits hard, offers a great frequency range for music listening and movie immersion, and takes up minimal space. It produces very loud low frequencies, which can be fine-tuned to achieve balanced output. Although not an "audiophile" subwoofer, it offers great value for its cost. The veneer is thin, but at this price point, it is to be expected.
