Sure-Grip Toe Stops & Plugs Editorial Review
The Sure-Grip Carrera Toe-Stop is a versatile product and can fit various types of skates, including the Sure Grip Outdoor Boardwalk Skates, Vanilla brand roller skates and Impala skates that have a 5/8” size stop. As per customer reviews, it is small and adjustable with a stem length of 25mm. The product doesn't come with lock nuts and washers, and a pair of 5/8" lock nuts and spring washers are needed for Sure Grip Boardwalk. Customers have appreciated the product’s smaller size, which makes it easier for them to skate different obstacles and ramps. However, some customers have faced issues with the product. A few have complained about the quality of the product, where it started shredding within a day or two of use. One customer faced an issue where the stoppers went in quickly, but one could not come out, and the threads stripped off, which resulted in having to replace the plates. At the same time, a few customers had trouble getting the stoppers out and had to use oil to get them to work.
