SKB Trombone 1SKB-360 Editorial Review
**** The SKB Trombone Case has garnered a mix of views from users, with an overall sentiment leaning towards positive yet critical. Customers appreciate the build quality and protective features of the case, as it boasts a solid Construction similar to that of a motorcycle helmet, providing durable protection for their instruments. Many users report it accommodating various vintage trombones comfortably, highlighting its snug fit and superior ability to secure the instruments during transport. However, there are notable shortcomings that have left some customers feeling frustrated. A significant number of reviews pointed out the inadequacy of the interior compartments, which are often too small for essential accessories like mouthpieces and slide lubricant. Some users resorted to modifying the interior by cutting it to create more space. Furthermore, critical design flaws, such as metal staples that can scratch the slide and an insufficient mechanism for securing the bell, have raised concerns about potential damage to the trombones. Despite these issues, users generally agree on the case being a good value for the price and emphasize its sturdiness compared to gig bags. While the case lacks elegance in design compared to pricier models from Yamaha, it provides adequate protection for a range of trombone models. Buyers are advised to Consider the limitations of storage space and potentially undertake modifications for optimal use. **
