Paranormal Editorial Review
**** The reception of the latest entry in Will Wight's series showcases a deeply engaged and enthusiastic reader base, highlighting the evolving narrative and character dynamics that have captivated fans. Many readers express their admiration for the continuous escalation of stakes, with protagonists Lindon and Yerin bravely navigating through formidable challenges on their quest to achieve Truegold. This installment is particularly notable for its ability to maintain excitement through character development and plot twists, keeping audiences riveted even after several books. One of the standout aspects of this book is the introduction of new characters and the humor provided by Dross, who has become a favorite among fans. His witty personality adds lighthearted moments to the story, balancing the weight of the action and drama. Readers appreciate how the friendship between Lindon and Yerin deepens throughout their trials, with many citing it as a highlight of the series, showcasing strong emotional stakes amid the fantastical elements. Despite the overwhelming positive feedback, there are minor critiques regarding the narrative's structure, particularly the decision to split the party, which some readers found a little challenging. However, this remains a personal preference rather than a judgement on the quality of Wight's storytelling. Fans are enthusiastic about the future of the series and are keen to dive into the next installment, "Underlord," demonstrating robust anticipation for what's to come. **
