Oster Toasters TSSTTRJBG1 Editorial Review
The Oster TSSTTRJBG1 toaster has a bagel setting, which toasts both sides and reduces the darkness of the toast by about half a setting. When on the toast setting or the bagel setting, both sides of toast are toasted equally. The slot is approximately 5.5 inches long and wide enough for a bagel or slice of Texas toast. The toaster features one LED light on the selected function button only during use. Reviewers had mixed experiences with the product. Some found that it toasted evenly and was a great basic toaster, while others found it to be of poor quality and not able to toast bread slices evenly. Several reviewers noted that the slots were not deep enough to fit large slices of bread. Some also reported that the temperature control knob was difficult to regulate and that the settings were not clearly visible. Additionally, some customers experienced a smell like burning plastic when using the toaster. Another issue was that the toaster did not pop up the lever occasionally or at all, and some had difficulty fitting the bread slices into the slot. Lastly, the cord was stiff and broke off easily.
