The SMT2200IC is recommended for powering motor loads like CPAP devices. The unit has universal sockets that work with UK plugs and no fan, but air vents are provided, helping to cool the unit down. The BV1000I-MS UPS has received mixed reviews, with some users complaining of the UPS giving off a burning smell and emitting fumes, which irritates breathing.
